NEPHROLOGY
Our Doctors & Staff
The Nephrology Division takes a multi-disciplinary approach with physicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and technicians intimately involved in patient care. Additionally, the physicians of SCVMC’s Nephrology Division provide nephrologic care for patients receiving dialysis at other non-SCVMC dialysis units where they maintain privileges. All of our attending faculty are board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
Education is an important element of the mission of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. In the Nephrology Division, two of Stanford Medical School’s clinical Nephrology fellows are based at SCVMC. Resident and student education are critical elements of the division’s activities. During the past few years, Nephrology has become a popular subspecialty choice for residents.
