REV Father Robert McKay, PHD
MULTIFAITH CHAPLAIN
Father Robert McKay, PHD (Psychology), has served as a hospital chaplain since 2003 originally at O’Connor Hospital and now at Valley Medical Center. He is an ordained Roman Catholic Priest and has professional certification through the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
REV JOHN IKENNA ONUOHA, M.DIV.
MULTIFAITH CHAPLAIN
Rev John Ikenna Onuoha, M.Div. is an ordained Evangelical Minister. He did his clinical pastoral education and chaplain residency at UCLA Health Systems in Los Angeles. He serves as a chaplain with the Army National Guard in Long Beach. He is working toward board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains and is endorsed for ministry to people of all faiths by the Evangelical Church Alliance.
REV. LARRY F. WILDEMUTH, D.MIN
MULTIFAITH CHAPLAIN
Rev. Larry F. Wildemuth has been serving in Spiritual Care Ministry at Valley Medical since April 1997. Before coming to Valley Medical he served as a Pastor for 25 years in Hawaii and San Jose. Recently retired, he is assisting part-time in Spiritual Care at Valley Med. He serves on the Board of CODA, an End of Life education nonprofit.
Rev. Max Hokai Swanger, M.Div, BCC
MULTIFAITH CHAPLAIN
Max is an ordained Buddhist Priest. He did his clinical pastoral education and chaplaincy residency at UCSF in San Francisco, Ca. Later he earned a Masters of Divinity degree, and became a Board Certified Chaplain. Prior to serving at Valley Medical, he worked at both Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital (Stanford) and Vitas hospice. In addition to being a chaplain at Valley Medical, Max provides Buddhist ministry around the bay area of California.
