All health care providers and prescribers are encouraged to provide therapeutic education and access for patients with COVID-19. COVID-19 therapeutics are a safe and effective measure for preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death for all persons, especially those at high-risk. These oral antiviral medications are now widely available at a variety of pharmacies throughout Santa Clara County.

How to Prescribe Medications
If You Are a Prescriber:
- Assess if a patient qualifies for COVID-19 treatment and identify treatment options. Clinicians can find treatment guidelines with evidence-based recommendations on the management of COVID-19 using the following resources:
