Labor & Delivery

During your labor and delivery, you will stay in one of our private birthing rooms. These rooms include a private bathroom and television. Your partner or labor coach can be present and a sleeper chair will be provided in your private room.

At Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, we recognize the diversity of our patient population. This diversity is reflected in our staff. Many of our employees are bilingual with fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Korean and Punjabi.

To ensure clear communication and accommodate a wide variety of cultural needs, we also have 24/7 access to a telephonic interpretation service for over 120 other languages and dialects.
