OVERVIEW

With over 250 physicians, advance practice providers, residents, and interns spread across 13 divisions and 10 clinical sites throughout Santa Clara County, the Department of Internal Medicine is proud to provide world-class medical care to the entire community. We are fortunate to be a part of one of the most diverse and dynamic Counties in the nation and attract some of the top physicians from throughout the country. 

Our providers have expertise in the full spectrum of internal medicine, ranging from primary care to hospital care to therapeutic endoscopy and advanced cardiology procedures.  Every year, we publish original research in peer-reviewed medical journals, are featured in the national news media, and win awards for innovation and quality.
