HOSPITALIST

Overview

The Santa Clara Valley Medical Center hospitalist group is one of the first hospitalist programs to be developed on the West Coast. Comprised of over 20 hospitalist physicians and providers specializing in complex acute hospital care and are dedicated to serving the diverse population of Santa Clara County.   

The group consists of doctors with a unique array of skills trained at some of the best programs in the country who are committed to providing the highest​ value of care to the community.  

The SCVMC hospitalists are awarded leaders in medical education as Stanford affiliated faculty and are nationally recognized in areas such as clinical research, quality improvement, patient safety and health system delivery innovation.​
