Salary & Benefits
Residents enjoy many benefits which enable them to thrive in the Bay Area, with incremental increases in salary from R1 year starting at $78,964 to an R4 salary of $97,980 (with negotiations currently ongoing for further increase). Catered lunches are provided at noon conferences and beverages and snacks are consistently stocked in the resident lounge. ABR membership, California medical license, Fluoroscopy license, DEA license and USMLE Step 3 exam fees are fully reimbursed. There are three weeks of vacation and one educational week as well as 13 paid county holidays.
