The Refugee Health Assessment Program provides healthcare services to newly arrived Refugees, Asylees, Humanitarian Parolees, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, and Victims of Human Trafficking.  

  • New arrivals are screened for communicable diseases including viral hepatitis and parasitic infections, tuberculosis as well as chronic health conditions. 
  • Patients with chronic medical conditions are linked with primary care services and specialty care services as needed.
  • Vaccinations required to complete the immigration process are provided to all adult patients.
  • Mental health assessment and referrals to counseling and mental health services are provided to adult patients through a partnership with the Asian Americans for Community Involvement/Center for Survivors of Torture (CST)
